1. Mold type


There are many types of molds for milling machines, and the type of mold ordered must be clear.


2. Workpiece processing size


First select according to the size of the workpiece to be processed. For example: For small and medium-sized workpieces, complex contour milling tasks can use a smaller lifting table milling machine, and the width of the worktable is below 400mm. The processing of large-size and complex parts requires a larger gantry milling machine, and the width of the worktable is generally controlled at 500-600mm.


3. Workpiece machining accuracy requirements


Choose a milling machine according to the accuracy requirements of the workpiece to be processed. At this stage, our country has formulated the accuracy standards for milling machines. Among them, there are professional standards for vertical lifting table milling machines. The standard stipulates that the linear motion coordinate positioning accuracy of the milling machine is 0.04/300mm, the repeat positioning accuracy is 0.025mm, and the milling accuracy is 0.035mm. In addition, the factory precision of the milling machine has a certain reserve, which is about 20mm less than the tolerance value of the national standard. Therefore, from the perspective of the accuracy of the workpiece, the general milling machine can meet the processing needs of most parts. For workpieces with high precision requirements, high precision CNC milling machines should be fully selected.


4. Workpiece processing characteristics
